Obviously with some caveats of course, it can’t view absolutely everything biut does most everyday files you will likely use apart from some specific applications. Sure there are some proprietary file types like Visio VSDX or other Visio template files, that it is not currently capable of displaying but for the most part this is an awesome little viewer that can be used in a pinch to view almost anything. Whislt some files are not designed to be viewed the application recognized certain file types even if it cannot view them. I had success with PDF, Word DOC & DOCX, Excel, PowerPoint PPT & PPTX (scroll and view all slides), JPG, RAW, GIF, PNG, ICS, PAGES, ODT, TAR, TXT, TIFF, ZIP, RTF, MOV (playable), m4a (playable), mp4 (playable), mp3 (playable). Drag and drop files to the "Open All Files" window to view file contents.

You can get PDF Expert on the App Store for $9.99, while another $9.99 for the in-app purchase will unlock the professional-level PDF editor, which lets you completely edit the content of PDFs like text, images, and links. In addition to local files, you can also link cloud services like Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, Box, and Dropbox to PDF Expert, and everything can be kept in sync between your devices with iCloud. There's even a built-in media player, which allows you to play audio and video files that you have stored. But while it's primary focus is that type of file, you can use PDF Expert to manage and view several file types, including Google documents and photos. While I mostly use Files these days as a central location for all of my.files, PDF Expert is my go-to for working with PDFs in almost any capacity.

It is similar to Mac OS Xs Preview.app, but lets you easily browse the entire contents of folders and archives, move and copy image files quickly, and supports many more image formats. PDF Expert is a long-serving app in my personal rotation for a very good reason: it's great at what it does, and what it does is quite a bit. Xee is an streamlined and convenient image viewer and browser.
